BigYellow Issues IYP Usage Stats

Issue: IYP Users Contact Businesses with Same Frequency as Print

News: A survey conducted by NFO AD:IMPACT on behalf of Bell Atlantic shows that online Yellow Pages users contact businesses at rates that are similar to those experienced by the printed product. Eighty-four percent of BigYellow users actually contacted a local business, and 62 percent went on to purchase a product or service. Comparatively, 81 percent of Bell Atlantic Yellow Pages print users contacted a business, with 57 percent resulting in a purchase.
