Share Shifts by 2009: More Digital, Less Incumbent

SUMMARY: Its hard to argue that the U.S. print and digital Yellow Pages market will look a lot different in 2009 than it does today. The question is, What will it look like? Earlier this month, The Kelsey Group issued a White Paper and accompanying PowerPoint presentation entitled Global Directional Media Forecast 2004-2009. In it, we provided a global overview of where we see the directional media industry (print classified consumer directories, Internet Yellow Pages and local commercial search) moving over the next five years.

In this and future Advisories, The Kelsey Report® will offer a more detailed drill down into segments of the forecast, with additional commentary on why we think things will move in the direction we are projecting.
