Senior executives from across the local online community convened in Philadelphia for Interactive Local Media 2006. Some 440 attendees from 230 companies gathered to learn about the trends and technological developments shaping the future of local search and interactive local media. The program featured 80 speakers and 28 sponsors and partners.

DDC2006, The Kelsey Group’s 19th-annual Yellow Pages conference, attracted more than 450 publishers, technology partners, vendors and suppliers to the global Yellow Pages community. A common message echoed throughout conference sessions and during the event’s networking receptions was that the forms of directional advertising will continue to change, while the value proposition in understanding local communities will remain. Executing strategies to best leverage and deliver that understanding is fundamental to the future of Yellow Pages.

“Drilling Down on Local: Targeting the On-Demand Marketplace” was The Kelsey Group’s 10th conference devoted to digital media with a local focus. The event highlighted the emerging on-demand marketplace, and covered a range of topics, from IPTV, VoIP and wireless platforms to local search, pay-per-call and Internet Yellow Pages.

Interactive Local Media 2005 was one of The Kelsey Group’s most successful events ever. DDC2005, The Kelsey Group’s 18th-annual Yellow Pages conference, attracted more than 400 publishers, technology partners, vendors and suppliers to the global Yellow Pages community. Attendees and speakers considered the question, “What Is the Future of Yellow Pages?” Answers represented a range of perspectives — publishers, advertisers and users.

Interactive Local Media 2004 brought together a wide range of speakers and companies from across the local spectrum: search engines, directory and newspaper publishers, vertical sites, technology vendors and companies engaged in developing new business models. Local represents a huge opportunity and while the business models and partnerships are starting to crystallize, nobody's got it completely figured out yet.

DDC2004, The Kelsey Group's 17th-annual Yellow Pages conference, attracted more than 300 publishers, technology partners, vendors and suppliers to the global Yellow Pages community. The diverse conference agenda reflected the priorities of today's publishers: balancing the need to focus on the basics, selling and publishing the best print directories, while finding sources of sustainable, long-term growth.

This first-time event examined the emergence of local search and the potential convergence of search engine advertising and Internet Yellow Pages.

Utilizing best practices, implementing new technologies and seizing marketing initiatives are some of the areas that were examined at this conference, subtitled Achieving Growth in a Global Business.   
     
 

YP-ROI – Yellow Pages ROI Conference
September 2002, Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina

Bringing together Yellow Pages executives, sales and market managers, the conference focused on using industry research and analysis to articulate the value of Yellow Pages vs. other media. It offered direction on opportunities to sell the combined value of print, online and mobile directories and how to develop methods for increasing advertiser penetration, retention and expansion.   
     
 

DDC2002 – Directory Driven Commerce Conference
March 2002, Westin La Cantera Resort, San Antonio

During the three-day event, speakers focused on new sources of growth for the core product, research tracking advertiser attitudes and behavior, the future of Internet Yellow Pages, sales force innovations and new pricing structures to increase penetration.
